H.R. 1217, officially titled thePublic Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act of 2015, was authored by Reps. Mike Thompson (D-CA) and Peter King (R-NY).

Gun groups launch new push for concealed-carry legislation (The Hill)
The National Rifle Association (NRA) and other Second Amendment advocates are throwing their weight behind the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, a bill introduced in both chambers of Congress that would allow gun owners to carry concealed weapons across state lines.

U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) recently introduced H.R. 131, a bill that would more comprehensively address the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition for law-abiding gun owners.
